Client Leader (Teacher) - Teaching the 'Earn While You Learn' classes and interacting one-on-one with our clients. Client Leaders must be at least 21 years of age, complete the Volunteer Training Course, and pass a Criminal Background Check.
Van Driver - We need drivers to transport clients to/from doctors' appointments and our classes. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid drivers' license, a clean motor vehicle report, pass a Criminal Background Check, and have current auto insurance.
Mentoring - Providing time and love to one of our clients. Mentors will be paired with a client and will be expected to interact with the client on a regular basis, i.e. sharing a meal together, phone calls, Bible Studies, going to a movie, attending church services, going to the park. Mentors must be at least 21 years of age, pass our Mentoring screening process, attend our Volunteer Training Course, and pass a Criminal Background Check.
Child Care - Many of our clients bring their small children to class with them. We need volunteers to watch the children at our facility while their parents attend class. Child Care workers must be at least 18 years of age and pass a Criminal Background Check.
Tutoring - Some of our clients struggle with certain subjects in school, such as Math or English. Tutors will provide one-on-one sessions with clients to assist them with their educational obstacles. Tutors must have at least a high school diploma, be at least 18 years of age, have a vast knowledge of and be proficient in the subject area, and pass a Criminal Background check.
Office Assistant - Filing, Data Entry, Copying, Organizing, Mail outs, Customer Service, & other basic office tasks. Office Assistants will aide the Executive Director in various clerical tasks.
Media/Public Relations Assistant - representing Lifehouse by attending civic club meetings, speaking at churches, writing newspaper articles, publishing a quarterly newsletter, and keeping display board/info current.
Domestic - Cleaning the office, straightening The Boutique, sorting donations.
The Boutique - Organizing, labeling, and stocking The Boutique.
Friends of Lifehouse - Helping with various projects, fundraisers, and special events. Contributing time as needed to do whatever needs doing.
Donating Goods/Services - Donating items for The Boutique, office supplies, cleaning products, food, etc. Donating your services: i.e. legal, custodial, lawn maintenance, accounting, computer/technical, etc. See
