Phase III - Lifehouse Maternity and Second Chance Home



We are still in the process of raising the funds necessary to open this home.  We are also in need of a facility/home large enough to house several women and/or some land to build a facility exactly to suit our needs.



Lifehouse Maternity and Second Chance Home will be a residential home for pregnant and parenting women in the South Georgia area who are in crisis situations.  Many women find themselves homeless, in need of a safe shelter, or just some extra help during their pregnancy.  We will offer a safe, loving, family-type environment where women are encouraged to plan for a better future for themselves and their babies.  Education will be a top priority, as will Bible Studies, Job Skills Training, and Life Lessons Training.  Each resident will form a Case Plan and work toward meeting the goals of the plan, including suitable housing.  Individual, family, and spiritual counseling are essential parts of this program.  Caring house managers will live in the home and be on duty at all times, ensuring residents’ safety and over-sight.



Each resident will have to undergo a medical examination, an interview with the Executive Director, and all documentation (including insurance) must be in order prior to residency.
